I'm sure most of you have heard of the Smart Girls Group, or if you haven't, you probably know someone it it! The Smart Girls Group is a sisterhood that brings the future of female leaders together under one mission by empowering and encouraging them. I knew about SGG for while know but after seeing posts and pictures about the conference in NYC I decided to look into it a bit more! I applied to become a part of the sisterhood and now I'm excited to share that I'm a writer for the SGG Loop! I've already gotten to know some amazing sisters and I can't wait to get more involved in the sisterhood! If you're interested in learning more about the Smart Girls Group, visit their website! Also, I was recently featured in the Smart Girls a little more about me below!

dress (no longer available)/ boots (similar)/ belt/ bag (similar)/ sunglasses
Happy Monday everyone!

It's been so long since I've done an outfit post (sorry!) so I'm excited to share this one with you today!  I got this dress over the summer but I never got the chance to wear it because it was too hot with the sleeves! But, the weather lately has been so perfect...chilly in the morning but then the sun comes out..I just had to pull it out:) I was really drawn to the print and shape of the dress and I was so happy that it looked good when I tried it on! The shape is really simple and has the perfect amount of flowiness. I opted for my new (favorite) pair of booties instead of sandals and loved how the look turned out! A leather belt, my trusty cross body, and of course, my aviators finished the look and it was perfect for walking around a restaurant festival in town. I have a feeling I'll be sporting this look a few more times until it actually start to get cold.

What do you think of this look? Would you wear a dress with boots?

Ps. I love hearing suggestion from readers so if there is something you want to see on the blog comment below or email me!

Happy Monday, everyone!

It's that time of year again ladies...homecoming season! Forget about finding a date because seriously, what's more important than the dress? No one will notice if you're going solo when you're wearing a killer dress. And even if you do have a date, the perfect dress will help you stand out from your friends in all those pictures you'll be taking. Personally, dress shopping is not my favorite. Don't get me wrong, I love to shop, but when I'm looking for something specific and I have a short time frame to get it, I start to panic and it's not pleasant. I never seem to find anything I want, which proceeds me to getting so overwhelmed with all the choices, and then I start to get frustrated with myself! Is anyone else like this?? So, to save you from the hassle that if formal dress shopping, I picked out some of my favorite dresses and accessories for all styles and budgets. These dresses aren't exclusively for  homecoming so if you have a formal party, sorority event, or maybe a date night  coming up, these would be perfect, too! Click through the widgets below to see my picks and don't forget to tell me what you think:)

Being a senior this year, I'm so excited for my last homecoming and I can't wait for the festivities to begin! Luckily, I found a dress I loved over the summer so now I just have to find the perfect pair of pumps!

Didn't find something you liked? I would love to help out so feel free to email me!

Happy Monday everyone! So my week of going 'unplugged' is over and I must say, it was hard to stay away from posting something new! Even though the short break was very much appreciated, I'm more than ready to be back to my normal posting schedule!

I wanted to start the week off with some outfit inspiration! A button down is definitely my go-to piece of clothing in my closet! For a simple but stylish look, pair a crisp white button down with a fun pair of skinnies! Try tucking one side in and leaving the other out! This pair from Zara is definitely on my wishlist because 1. I love the zipper details and 2. they're navy (total selling point right there). Dainty jewlery and a cute cross body keep the outfit clean and simple! (P.S. I'm totally loving the Daniel Wellington watches...does anyone have one?) For the shoes, I went with something fun! These J.Crew flats are so eye catching and add something unique to the simplicity of the outfit!

What do you think of this outfit? Where would you wear it to?

First of all, happy Labor Day everyone! I hope you spent your weekend relaxing and celebrating with friends and family!

Sooo, I have a few things to update you guys on!

If you haven't already noticed, Belle Adore got a facelift! I felt that the design of my blog was definitely lacking and the header was, put simply, kind of boring (It's can agree)! I started talking to Anna after reading her blog and then getting involved with Undeniable and she shared that she  had been dabbling in blog design! I contacted her immediately and we got to work! I definitely had a vision for what I wanted my new header, color scheme, etc. to be, so she told me to make an inspiration board on Pinterest to work from! You can see my board here! Anna definitely listened to what I said I wanted (I was a bit picky...sorry Anna!) and made any adjustments I had! I absolutely love what Anna came up with and think it totally embodies the style of my blog and my own personal aesthetic! The font is so me, I love the little washi tape detail underneath, and the stripes are just so fun! It's classic, feminine, and chic, don't you think?!

I'm been wanting to update my blog for a while now and I'm just so excited with how it turned out! I would love to hear what you think of it! Also, if you have a blog and are looking for someone to design a blog template, header, signature, or 'about me' graphics, definitely contact Anna because she was so fun and easy to work with!

On a different note, this week's post scheduling is going to be a little different. A few bloggers decided that it would be a good idea to go 'unplugged' for a bit...from blogging, instagramming, tweeting..basically anything and everything social media related!

(thanks Chloe for the cute graphic!)

From a readers point of view, blogging probably seems so easy and hard can posting some pictures and writing a few paragraphs be? Well, from a blogger's standpoint, its time consuming and sometimes a bit stressful! From taking the pictures for the posts, to writing the posts, to editing and scheduling them, to replying to emails and keeping up with all the other social media platforms on top of our own personal, work, and school schedules, everything can get overwhelming!  So, the purpose of this week is to take a short break from blogging to get re-inspired and re-organized and come back with a fresh perspective. This doesn't necessarily mean going completely absent from the world, but, I'll be posting when I want to, as opposed to when I have to! Even though I absolutely love blogging, a short hiatus would be extremely helpful and take away some of the added pressure it brings, especially since this is my first week back at school! (This is only for a week so be sure to check back in next week when I will be going back to my normal post schedule!)

If you have a blog, Instagram, Twitter, or any other social media site that you update regularly, I strongly encourage you to take a step back, give yourself a break to focus on something else, and go back with a fresh perspective! Feel free to use this graphic on your blog or anywhere else and share the idea of going 'unplugged' with anyone you think needs a much deserved break! If you decided to take a part in this, comment your blog url down below!

Read what these blogger's have to say about going 'unplugged' - Caroline, Frannie, Gracey, ChloeSammy, Anna, and Kate !

P.S. I really would love to hear what everyone thinks of the new blog design:)!
