I saw this quote on Pinterest today and I felt that it really resonated with what's been going on in my life at the moment. This week started off with a conference for students interested in business/entrepreneurship (DECA, anyone?). I had a great time networking, presenting, and meeting other students who are passionate about the same things that I am. Today, I'm headed to a student retreat sponsored by my school for 4 days. 4 days without technology, makeup, and the comfort of some of my closest friends and family. And while the students are all seniors like I am, I can say that I probably haven't talked to maybe half of them. This might just be what I'm most excited about..meeting and connecting with new people. Everyone who has gone comes back a changed person but doesn't share anything about what goes on over the few days and the thought of this is both exciting but nerve-wrecking and slightly scary. I honestly don't know what to expect but I'm going in with an open heart and an open mind and fully prepared to leave a little more connect to myself, God, and the new people I meet.
I'll be sure to check back in on Monday when I'm back.
