I'm a Glossier Rep!

Hi guys! I hope all of you had a lovely Christmas weekend! I spent mine with my family and had  the best time cooking, baking, watching old movies, and seeing all of my extended family! Now that the holidays are over, I'm hoping to get back to posting more regularly (2017 resolution, maybe?)  so expect to see more posts in the future!

If you follow me on Instagram then you might already know this but if you don't, I'm so excited to announce that I'm a new Glossier brand rep! I've talked about the brand countless times on Belle Adore but if you aren't familiar with it then allow me to explain! Glossier was created by Emily Weiss, the founder of Into the Gloss, and its mission is to perfect (not conceal) makeup with minimal effort. They focus on skin first and makeup second, which I think is important for everyone's beauty routine. Without a healthy base, makeup is never going to look good. Over the past few years I've been searching for products that make my skin looks its best and Glossier has been a huge help in that journey! I'm finally happy with where my skin is now and I have Glossier to thank for that

I've been using Glossier products from their very early stages and have truly incorporated them into my everyday beauty routine. So when they asked me if I wanted to join the family and become a rep, I was so excited and said yes, of course! I tell people about Glossier and how much I love it all the time so I'm so excited that now I can do it on a larger scale.

I now have my own page on Glossier's site where you can shop with me! You can watch my video where I talk all about my skincare and beauty routine and all my favorite Glossier products. If you have any questions, leave them in the comments below!

Classic Black and White

I'm so happy to be home for winter break and finally be done with this semester! I have a few fun things planned for break but I'm most excited to catch up on sleep, see my best friends, and spend time with my family.

If you're struggling to find the perfect Christmas present for someone like I am, don't worry I have the perfect gift idea. This Daniel Wellington watch and cuff is such a classic and something that anyone would love to get. I have been wearing mine nonstop since I got it and I've already gotten quite a few compliments on it. My mom even asked if she could have it!

The classic watch comes in a variety of different colors perfect for people with unique styles and personalities. I picked the classic St. Mawes watch with rose gold detail and the rose gold cuff to match! Together, they are the perfect addition to any outfit!

A Bold Lip with E.L.F Cosmetics

It's been so long since my last beauty post so I'm pretty excited to be sharing this one with you guys today! I'm working with  E.L.F cosmetics to share a beauty look perfect that is perfect for the Holiday season!

I started off with a clean face and applied my normal moisturizer. After that, I used the E.L.F Mineral face primer to ensure that my makeup would last and look its best. After that I applied my normal foundation, concealer, and powder. I talked about my everyday makeup routine in this post if you want to learn more about my normal beauty products!

For my eyes, I used the colors 'champagne' and 'lt. bronze' from my favorite palette followed by two coats of the best  mascara from Bobbi Brown. I used this  bronzer/highlight dual palette from E.LF. to create a shimmery holiday look and then finished off the look with this matte  lip pencil with 'rich red'

Holiday Look with Sweetest Stitch

I hope everyone had a relaxing holiday weekend - I just back to school last night and I'm gearing up for a busy last two weeks of the semester before I'm back home for winter break! It's so crazy to think how fast the semester went by and how quickly Christmas is approaching! When I was home, my family and I put up our lights, decorated the Christmas tree, and blasted the Micheal Buble Christmas album (tons of hot cocoa was involved). It's safe to say that I'm 100% in holiday mode - if only I didn't have 5 finals to stress about!

Today I am sharing an outfit that is a quintessential holiday look! You can't go wrong with green and red this time of the year! If you follow me on snapchat or Instagram (@belleadore) then you might remember that I attended the grand opening for a Richmond boutique called  Sweetest Stitch! I went with my friends Lauren and PJ and we had so much fun shopping, socializing, and snacking on some delicious sweets! If you are in the area, I highly recommend checking it out. They have tons of cute new arrivals that will make perfect additions to your winter wardrobe! Niki, the owner of Sweetest Stitch, and I partnered up to share a holiday inspired look that is perfect for any parties, dinners, or social events you have coming up!

This lacy, bell sleeved  dress immediately caught my eye when I saw it in the store! I loved the color,  lace, and details around the neck - so cute! I paired the  dress with a simple pair of  black heels, a  gold clutch,  black earrings, and a bold red lip!

While this look might be on the fancier side, what better time to dress up than the holidays?!

Ultimate Black Friday Sales

Happy Friday everyone! I hope everyone had a relaxing Thanksgiving! I spent yesterday helping my dad cook dinner for about 20 people who came over to our house and I'm still stuffed from all the food I ate:)! Last year was the first year that I did Black Friday shopping in stores and I honestly didn't think it was worth waking up early because it was so crowded, I couldn't concentrate on getting gifts, and I was exhausted! So this year I opted out of it and I've been shopping the sales online! But, I do encourage all of you to go out tomorrow and support the small businesses in your area for Small Business Saturday! I'm excited to go back to work tomorrow at the boutique I've been at for the past few years!

For those of you who are shopping from home (hopefully snuggled up watching the Gilmore Girls revival) this year, I've rounded up some of the best sales happening as well as some picks that I think would be great for gifts or a little treat for yourself! Happy Shopping!

The Pearlfect Collection

One of my favorite things about this season is the layering! The weather in Richmond hasn't been too cold lately so I've been getting away with just wearing a cozy sweater or a light jacket most days! I had never tried the poncho/cape trend before but after seeing this one at  Mod&Soul, I decided to give it a try!

I wore it over a simple  black shift dress with  black booties! Thanksgiving dinner would be the perfect occasion to wear this look - the sweater is so cozy and the dress is especially forgiving after a big meal:)
My favorite part of the outfit? This new  tortoise shell necklace from  Kiel James Patrick. If you're not familiar with brand, you are missing out because they have the greatest collection of American made, New England prep style products. The  'Pearlfect Collection' has a gorgeous selection of necklaces, bracelets and earrings, in classic pearls and tortoise shells. If you are already thinking ahead to Christmas, something from this collection would be the perfect gift to give to a best friend, sister, or family member!

Holiday Ready with Jord Watches

It seems like everyone in the 'blogosphere' is ready for the holiday's and I'm hopping on the bandwagon today to share a product that I think will make a great  gift for any of your loved ones!

This beautiful navy  Jord watch is the newest addition to my jewelry collection and I have been having so much fun styling it lately! I chose the navy face because I knew it would be the easiest color to incorporate into my wardrobe, but the  other colors are just as cute!

Every Jord watch is made out of high quality wood that has been globally sourced. My watch is made from Zebrawood native to West Africa. I love how every piece has a unique story and how you can learn about each one on their  website

Jord and I are teaming up to host a giveaway so you can have one of these watches for yourself... so keep reading for your chance to win!

To say I'm obsessed with  this top would be an understatement! I was browsing online when I saw it and immediately bought it! I love the fit, the print, and especially the bows in the back! I know I'll be getting tons of wear out of it around the holiday season!

I kept my outfit simple with a pair of  skinny jeans, my favorite new  booties, and a  crossbody bag!

I've teamed up with Jord to host a  giveaway to their site! One lucky winner will receive $75 to use towards any watch on their site! All other entrants will receive a $20 e-gift card just for entering! Just enter your information on  this page for your chance to win! You will be notified if you win! The contest closes on November 27th....good luck:)!

Thank you to Jord Watches for sponsoring this post!

Holiday Dress Guide

As promised, I'm sharing another look from my shoot with Mod&Soul today! As you might already know, I'm currently writing for their  blog and we just started a series all about dressing for the holidays! I know it may seem a little premature, especially considering today is in the mid-80s, but Holiday parties are quickly approaching and I want you all to be the best dressed there!

Check out today's post on Mod&Soul's  blog for more details about this adorable lace dress!

Mod&Soul Ruffle Sweater

If you remember from one of my recent blog posts, I talked about how I’m writing the blog for a local company here in Richmond. I’m so excited to be a part of their team and to share tons of future content with you guys! I post new content on their site every Tuesday and Thursday so if you’re interested in reading it, you can check it out here!

The owner of the boutique and I got together to photograph some new products for their website and social media sites last week. The pictures are too fun not to share with you so I’m posting a few today from one of the looks that we shot!

This gorgeous marigold top is one of my favorites from Mod&Soul's new arrivals! I tend to avoid yellow at all costs but something about this mustard-y shade just drew me in!

Tops/ Skirt/ Boots/ Sunnies (similar)

What do you guys think about this color? Would you wear it for Fall?

October POPSUGAR Must Have Box

My favorite part about subscription boxes is not knowing what you're going to get each month. I've talked about the POPSUGAR Must Have boxes on the blog before, and how much I love what comes inside, but each month I'm more and more impressed by the contents of the box!

The October Must Have box is definitely my favorite out of all the ones I've received! I can see myself using all of the products in here - I've already tried a few and love them!

If you're interested in subscribing to the POPSUGAR Must Have boxes, use the code 'SHOP5' for $5 off your first box!

Now on to the products...!

  1. My favorite item from this month's box has to be this mug! I love the 'diner' style and the cute typography and I know I will be getting good use out of it!
  2. It was so fitting that this box came with a hot chocolate mix! It smells so yummy - I can't wait to try it but I might have to save it for when I'm home for the holidays!
  3. This shower oil is a smells SO good! I already used it as a cleanser but I can only imagine how nice it would be as a bubble bath! It left my skin feeling super soft and smelling so good!
  4. The founder of POPSUGAR, Lisa Sugar, wrote a book called 'Power Your Happy' which was included in this box! I can't wait to learn all about how she started the company.
  5. I'm always down to trying new beauty products and I was excited to see this Revlon eyeliner inside! I admire those girls who can do the perfect winged liner so I'm going to have to watch some youtube tutorials before I use it!
  6. This umbrella was such a surprise to see in the box! Its in the classic Henri Bendel brown and white colors and has the cutest pink print on it!

Happy Monday!

Happy Monday! I had such a relaxing, productive weekend and I'm ready to take another week! I have quite a bit on my agenda this week but its nothing a little lot of coffee can't help with! This week I get my little for AKPsi and I'm so excited to surprise her!  Also, Halloween is this weekend and I'm still at a loss of what to be...any suggestions?

1. I'm so excited to say that I'm the new content creator for a local Richmond boutique, Mod & Soul. I did this  post with them a few months ago and I'm happy I get to work with them again in a bigger way! Basically, I'll be writing the posts on their blog as well as taking pictures and promoting the brand on my social media accounts!

2. My love for Glossier keeps growing!! I just received the  Generation G lipstick and the concealer and I'm already obsessed with both of them! I'll be sure to do a more detailed review on the blog soon! You're missing out if you haven't tried out the brand so here's  20% off your first're welcome:)

3. PJ from Soulfully Southern is coming to Richmond is just a few weeks!! She's applying to the University of Richmond and she wanted to stay with me to tour the school again. I'm so excited to show her around my favorite spots on campus and in the city! See you soon PJ!

4. Can we all just agree that Carly and Julia are the ultimate friends goals? I've been obsessed with Carly's youtube channel and this video just made me so happy!!

Is there anything you want to see on the blog? Leave your suggestions in the comments below!

Peplum Look for Fall

I've talked about SheIn on the  blog before and I still definitely recommend checking out their site if you are looking for affordable, trendy clothes. They were kind enough to send me this  cute peplum top and I loved styling it for this gorgeous fall weather. I plan on wearing this again in the summer with a pair of white jeans and wedges but for now, I kept things simple for a causal morning out with some fun flats and my favorite  J.Crew field jacket

What's your favorite piece of fall clothing?
