Get Ready With Me ft. The Estee Edit

Happy Monday! I've been so excited to share this post with all of you! Believe it or not, I've actually never done a full post about my makeup routine on the blog before! Today's post is in collaboration with The Estee Edit and Influenster but as always, all opinion are genuine and my own!

If you're not familiar, The Estee Edit is a new line created by Estee Lauder exclusively for Sephora. I found out about it when I saw that Kendall Jenner was going to be the face of the collection and immediately started doing some research! The Estee Edit is definitely on the edgier and bolder side, considering how classic and timeless Estee Lauder's usual collections are. Normally, I stick to a simple  makeup routine because I know that I'm going to be happy with the result, but, I was so pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to incorporate these into my routine - and I loved the outcome! So let's get started!

I am starting out with the 'Beam Team' which is an illuminating hydrating lotion. You could use it in place of your normal face moisturizer but in this case I just layered it on top! It is super hydrating and leaves your skin with a beautiful glow too! However, if your skin is more on the oily side I would recommend using a smaller amount because it could really enhance your shininess.

Next, I'm using the Pore Vanishing Stick in place of a normal primer! My T-zone is my only problem area and this product targets exactly that area. I just swipe it over my nose, forehead, and chin and it will vanish my pores and also mattify the area to keep shine away!

My usual face makeup goes on next! This Tarte BB Cream is one of my most recent obsessions. It is so light which is perfect for the summertime and it provides a great base for concealer, powder foundation, etc. I dab it onto my face then blend it out with a Beauty Blender - the holy grail of makeup tools!

A little under eye concealer...my absolute favorite is this Maybelline Instant Age Rewind . I make a triangle shape with the applicator and then blend it out with the same Beauty Blender.

I use the Nars Creamy Concealer to cover any spots or blemishes I have. I use the shade  'Vanilla'.

The 'Flash Illuminator' in Morning Light has been the perfect addition to my makeup routine. My collection has been missing a highlighter and this one provides the most gorgeous shimmer. I personally like the liquid consistency, as opposed to a powder, because I can use as little or as much as I want and gives me the control to apply it to the specific areas I want to! I put it right above my cheek bones and use my fingers to blend it out!

Look at that shine!

For keeping everything in place and looking even, the Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation is my go -to ! I brush it all over to give my face even coverage and color.

A little blush to bring a pop of color...Nars 'Orgasm' is my favorite (as you can see from the half empty, broken pan).

In the summer I like using a little bronzer under my cheekbones. It totally makes me look tanner than I am:)

To finish off the look I'm wearing The Estee Edit Lip color in 'The Barest'. It is so smooth going on and gives such a pretty color and I can totally imagine wearing this in the fall!

So that's it! I hope you liked learning about my makeup routine using these Estee Edit products!  I love how easy I've been able to incorporate them into my routine! Shop the products below and if you have any questions about any of these products, just let me know!
